Description This project is commissioned by Muslim Children in Care (MCIC )), a Community Interest Company, working in partnership with Sparks Fostering to support Muslim children receiving social care. These thoughtfully curated gift packs are designed to help children feel seen, valued, and connected to their faith during Ramadan and Eid, as well as throughout the year. Gift packs may include: A Qur’an Prayer beads (Tasbih) A prayer mat Faith based toys for younger children Decorations for Eid parties Faith based decorations for the children’s bedrooms How Donations Work Donations are collected in multiples of £10. For example: Ordering 5 units = £50 donation Ordering 20 units = £200 donation When Donations Are Used Donations received prior to and during Ramadan will be used to support Ramadan and Eid celebrations, including gift packs and celebration resources for Muslim children in care. At other times of the year, donations will be used to support Muslim children who are new into care or new to the UK, including those who may have arrived after fleeing conflict or displacement. This ensures that children have access to the basic Islamic items required to practice their faith and maintain a sense of identity and belonging during periods of transition. Additional Impact For every £20 donated, Sparks Fostering will also donate a Qur’an Reflections pack. The Qur’an Reflections pack contains 52 selected verses from the Qur’an with guided reflections, designed to support emotional wellbeing, identity, character development, and positive connection to faith for children and young people in care. Your support makes a real difference. Thank you for helping Muslim children in care feel remembered, supported, and celebrated throughout the year
